• Base movement

• Understand the need for personal safety and assessment of a load, task, environment and an individual’s ability
• Realise the importance of reducing the risk of injury
• Provide practical advice and demonstrate how to manage situations in the workplace
• Understand the principles and priorities when moving and handling loads
