NHS PASA Agreement:
The NHS has set up a contract to get the highest quality from their locum workforce. The NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency established the National Framework Agreement in April 2006 for different staff types, which include Allied Health Professionals.

Randstad Care are an NHS PASA contracted supplier of AHPs to the NHS and PCTs in England and Wales. We have been approved by NHS PASA due to our stringent compliance criteria.

What does this mean?
NHS PASA have approved Randstad Care to supply temporary staff to the NHS. As part of the contract, Randstad Care (and every agency who is NHS PASA approved) must adhere to certain requirements to supply AHPs. These requirements include checking certain documentation BEFORE a locum can start work.

Checklist of documents required to work within the NHS: 

• Passport / original birth certificate
• Visa (if applicable)
• HPC Certificate
• Degree certificate
• References from two most recent employers
• Enhanced CRB check (Randstad Care pay for this for you)
• Mandatory training (Randstad Care can provide this for you)
• 2 passport photos
• Evidence of Immunisations

 Therefore, as a candidate, it is a good idea to register with Randstad Care before you are available to start work. This will enable us to carry out all of the necessary requirements whilst looking for jobs.
