Professionals in physiotherapy jobs based in Kingston have generously donated their time to help a two-year-old girl move past her disability.

According to Yourlocalguardian.co.uk, the girl - Vanessa Clemenson-Blick - has experienced delayed walking and speech. She is also unable to eat without choking.

However the two-year-old has been unable to get all the help she needs due to delays at he local hospital. As such, some selfless physiotherapists working in the area have donated their time to help her out.

Two such people were Peter Donkin, a physiotherapy expert, and therapist Ben Wilde - who said he was "very moved" by Ms Clemenson-Blick's story. He added: "It was very powerful.

"It was about opening doors for [her] if we could. We invited [her] in for an assessment to see exactly what these kind of developmental difficulties were."

After assessing the little girl, Mr Wilde liaised with his medical colleagues and managed to get Ms Clemenson-Blick the help she needed. She has been given recommendations for equipment, and has been set a date to attend a specialist feeing clinic.

Mr Wilde was only too happy to help, he told Wirralonline.com; and Ms Clemenson-Blick's father, Neil, was over the moon about it.

Neil concluded: "I think it's absolutely wonderful. For someone to give a hand and be the ones to give us help is great."
