Drinking a glass of pomegranate juice each day could be the key to keeping workers motivated, according to a new study.

One News Page confirmed the findings, which were collated by scientists from a juice company and might interest nutritional specialists in dietitian jobs - whose area of expertise is their patient's dietary requirements.

The scientists claimed that employees who drank 500ml of pomegranate juice every day for a fortnight felt "more enthusiastic" about work and less stressed, with lower heart rates to boot.

Dr Emad Al-Dujaili, the academic who led the research, confirmed the results in a recent statement. He told the Daily Mail: "On the basis of these findings, there is a justified argument for busy workers to drink pomegranate juice to help...maintain good health."

"There is growing evidence that pomegranate juice delivers wide-ranging health benefits that merit further research. It is very rare indeed for an all-natural juice to offer the range of health benefits that we are seeing in pomegranate juice."

This is not the first time pomegranate juice has been praised for its benefits, as those who drink it regularly have been known to develop less fatty cells, and reduce their risk of developing kidney disease or having a stroke. Furthermore, the juice has been known to help delay the ageing process.
