A physiotherapy clinic in Goring-on-Thames will receive a visit from HRH The Duchess of Cornwall today, which should please those working in physiotherapy jobs working at the facilities.

The Flint House Police Rehabilitation Centre in Oxfordshire helps nurse injured police officers back to health, after receiving injuries whilst on the beat. The Duchess will meet some of the officers receiving treatment, and then attend a reception held in her honour.

According to The Press Association, the reception will attract attendees from the centre's staff, trustees, and people who support the Police Rehabilitation Trust.

During her visit, she will take a tour of the facilities; including the hydrotherapy pool, Jacuzzi and physiotherapy areas - mirroring a trip taken by her husband, the Prince of Wales, back in 2008.

It is thought over 50,000 police officers have been helped by the centre, which was opened in 1988 by HRH The Queen Mother. Around 3,000 officers attend the centre each year, and it is supported financially by voluntary contributions from the British police force.

Berwickshire News reported that the Duchess would also be attending a tour of the nearby Women's Institute in Abingdon, Oxfordshire before moving on to the centre. Reports suggested she would be spending time specifically with the Women's Institute Cookery and Craft schools on the site.
