A new healthcare service is to be launched in Yorkshire, offering care at home and nursing services to hundreds of people across the region.

The new care services which will be provided by healthcare franchise Prestige Nursing, will create more than 200 domiciliary care jobs in the region over the next 12 months. 

It is hoped the new healthcare service will meet the increasing demand for healthcare workers in the West and South Yorkshire area.

Prestige Nursing has more than 60 years experience providing care and support to services users in the comfort of their own home. They are one of the UK's leading providers of care services and the company's other services include providing care staff to care homes and other organisations such as prisons and hospitals.

The new franchise's office will be based in Northgate, Wakefield but nursing services will be available to clients living in the Barnsley, Castleford, Dewsbury, Doncaster, Pontefract, Rotherham and Wakefield areas.

Michael Dooley is launching the franchise for Prestige Nursing. He told The Business Desk: "This new service will help meet the growing demand for nursing and home care services in West and South Yorkshire."

"The demand for healthcare services is growing and our services will help ensure that people in West and South Yorkshire will have access to the care they need from personal care to nursing care," he said.

"We are currently recruiting suitably experienced and qualified staff and we anticipate creating 200 new positions," he added.
